Rent | Kaede is a normal girl busy studying for her school exams, when Shinobu, an apprentice ninja breaks into her bedroom. Kaede confronts Shinobu, who attempts to cast an invisibility spell (which fails) and she sneaks over to Kaede's underwear drawer, and begins to rifle through it. When confronted again, Shinobu starts to cry about her failed life, and how her ninja master Onsokumaru, (a very lecherous yellow ball thing) has given her a ninja task to steal a young girls panties. Kaede decides to let Shinobu take back one of her 'items', and their odd friendship is forged. So a very ordinary Kaede gets caught up in Shinobu's very strange and disorderly life in a secret ninja village. |

Milk is a potty-mouthed child superheroine who has no particular superpowers and prefers to hang out at home and enjoy the things that kids like to do: watch TV, play videogames and eat snacks. This would be a lot easier if Milk wasn't six months behind in paying the rent! Tetsuko is Milk's not exactly state-of-the-art robot assistant, Hanage is a giant slug who shares the apartment, and Robodog is Milk's pet, who unfortunately tends to urinate in an embarassing manner. Invariably, each episode includes a visit from the irate landlord, after which Milk gets a call from the "President", who appeals to her for help in solving all sorts of bizarre problems. |
